Couture Ball Gown Chair - This winged armchair is an original 1930's piece that has been upholstered to reflect the features of a couture ball gown. The chair has a pleated skirt with layers of netting underneath. There is a functioning zip at the back that opens to reveal a silver silk satin lining and diamante trim. The zip pull has a giant black and diamante tassel attached. The chair is upholstered in Designers Guild faux suede and the feather seat cushion and outside wings are covered in silk drill. The wood had been stripped and oiled.
