How do I get a quote for getting furniture upholstered?

The easiest way is to send us a picture of your furniture that you would like upholstered. One picture will normally suffice unless there are any particular problem areas which require further photos. You are also welcome to bring a photo in to the shop if it is more convenient to you (Images of furniture previously upholstered)

How long does it take?

It normally between 1 and 2 weeks once we have the furniture and the fabric and are able to make a start

Can you help with design ideas?

We are always happy to advise and give design ideas.

Can you replace seat pads?

Yes we have some samples in the shop to sit on and feel to find just the right replacements for you. Any shape or size can be ordered.

Do you mend sofa springs?

Yes we can - send us across a picture of the problem area and we can provide you with a quote for getting it fixed

I am a complete novice can I join the 10 week course?

Yes you can, we take students of all abilities on this course. We do also offer complete beginner and intermediate day workshops (courses)

Can I store my furniture with you for the duration of the 10 week course?

Yes we can hold on to your furniture for the duration of the course if you would like us to

Can I bring any piece of furniture for the 10 week upholstery course?

We ask that the furniture that you bring on the 10 week course fits on one of our tables which is 150cm x 75cm. Most popular items are footstools, dining chairs or winged back armchairs.

How do I book a space on an upholstery course?

Can you cater for private groups on an upholstery course?

We can organise private upholstery courses - please do contact us for more information. We are happy to try and accommodate separate dates for your specific group.

Is there any parking?

There is on street parking outside our shop and for longer stays there is a pay and display car park locally
